The cool new beach we found... definately will go back!
My brother, me and my stepdad before the Marniers win!!
The kids in front of the caribou at Northwest TrekA summer wouldn't be complete without our annual trip to Seattle... We left on a Thursday and drove (yep, me and the 3 kids) to Yakima. The kids were able to stay in a hotel (this was a first for them!!), swim, eat dinner and watch a movie... they honestly thought they were in heaven! We stayed in a great hotel on the Yakima river with a great view. We went to a very expensive pizza place for dinner, then went back to watch a movie. It was a fun night! The next day we got in the car and drove to Maple Valley to my best friend from High school's house. We had a great day chatting and the kids played (Garrett went to a movie). The next morning, we got up early and left for my mom's house on Whidbey Island (the McGough's came too!) Unfortunately the weather was cold and crummy... but that didn't stop the kids from having fun!
The rest of our trip was great! We shopped, played, went to a Marnier's game, saw a movie, explored Northwest Trek, adventured in Wild Waves, caught up with some old friends, visited my grandma (who had never met Anna), swam, ziplined, crabbed, and lots more!! We had a blast and the only thing I would have changed was the weather!! (and Ryan being able to join us)
We came home 2 weeks later... just in time! We left Whidbey Island and drove (the LONGEST day ever) to Pendelton. Stayed in a hotel- swam, ate, had fun.... and finally arrived home to daddy and Ernie on Saturday afternoon.
I learned a lot driving with 3 kids by myself... I think I will write a book:)
